Caserta Royal Palace
In 1734, the city experienced its golden age with the Bourbons, who donated to the city a splendor never shut down due to numerous architectural works, now a UNESCO World Heritage as the Royal Palace and a tourist destination par excellence.
The construction of the Palace was flanked by development of the new aqueduct Carolino, essential for water supply of the immense park that covers an area of 120 hectares, with English and Italian gardens, fountains and even a large waterfall artificial.
The Royal Palace covers an area of more than 47,000 meters, with approximately 1,200 rooms.
